By assuming different roles, new, perhaps unfamiliar perspectives, feelings and sensations can open up

for you. You will encounter and experience these perspectives through play and begin to embody them.

Even resistance to the character can be very helpful.

In this way you can approach your issues, recognize them as part of yourself and integrate them into

your life step by step. Life energy that has been blocked for a long time can begin to flow again.

Theatrical play is an encounter with oneself and the way that you navigate the world. It enables a deeper

understanding within your every-day environment.

Facilitators:

Elisabeth Kopp studied acting and has performed at numerous theatres in German-speaking countries. A

natural progression to a degree in theatre therapy followed.

“The ‘part playing’ enables us to meet ourselves and our environment. Anything can be represented and

imitated: a stone, a river, a fairy, a murderer, an animal... there is no end to the imagination. With the

enactment of the roles, we experience hidden parts of ourselves that are allowed to appear in this

protective space and bring us into contact with ourselves.”

Julia Bonse is a teacher of theatre, art and German, a graduate of further training as a theatre therapist

(DGfT) and trauma therapy coach (neurosystemic integration). For many years she was involved in

improvisational theatre and coordinated groups for children and young people. She got to know and love

the healing aspects of theatre and its positive effects on personal development.

"I would like to accompany people on their very personal developmental path and support them in a

trauma-sensitive way, to approach their inner world with curiosity and to enable them to meet their real

needs."

"All you have to do is let the soft animal of your body love what it loves..." - Mary Oliver
